Warning: Two Local Scams

 

  

Across the Valley, Bank Independent customers are receiving scam calls. If you receive a call from anyone asking for your banking credentials, attempt to get some kind of number or name; then report the call to customer service at Bank Independent.

Second, in Lauderdale County, citizens are receiving calls ostensibly from the Sheriff's Office. Currently, the sheriff isn't asking for donations from the public. Never donate without contacting the alleged recipient first.
