Garrett Larkin wasn't content with simply beating a dog. When that became boring to the sadist, he allegedly suspended it from a tree and gave it another thrashing with a leather strap. Thankfully neighbors reported Larkin to the police, and he is now in the Colbert County Jail.
The dog is safe from the torture and is with the girlfriend of the 23 year-old Tuscumbia resident. Or should we hopefully say Larkin's ex-girlfriend?
