Killen Officer Jarrod Webster Charged with Rape & Sodomy

Jarrod Gailen Webster, last address of record (since 2019) 330 Cloverleaf Circle in Killen's East Point Estates, has been arrested on charges of First Degree Sodomy and First Degree Rape. The 27 year-old Webster was employed by the Town of Killen as a police officer at the time of the alleged incidents.

Public record also indicates that Webster and a female resident of Enid, Oklahoma, received a marriage license in Witchita Falls, Texas, on October 31, 2016. It would appear from credit reports that the two are no longer married; however, this has not been established.

According to a press release from the Florence Police Department, Webster graduated from the state police academy on July 29, 2021, and was one of five new grads employed by the FPD at that time. It's unclear how long Webster worked for Florence before his Killen empoyment. It's also been reported that Webster was banned from the Killen Subway due to his questionable behavior.

According to official reports, the alleged sex crimes took place on November 12th. Webster was both indicted and placed under arrest on November 17th. The former Killen officer is being held without bond in the Lauderdale County Detention Center due to the violent nature of the charges brought against him. The investigation is a combined effort of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department and the FBI.

In the United States between 2005 and 2015, a police officer was faced with sexual misconduct charges at least every five days, most of these patrol officers. Jarrod Webster's attorney of record is Tim Case of Florence.
