In April, dogs belonging to Brandy Dowdy of Red Bay attacked two women, one day apart. A dog walker, Michelle Sheeks has spent weeks in the hospital as a result of her wounds. Late last night, Mrs. Sheeks passed away.
Dowdy (pictured) is currently in the Franklin County Detention Center on drug charges. The 39 year-old is also facing manslaughter charges in the death of the second victim, an employee of ADPH.
