Joshua Edward Priest is 31 years-old; his wife Sarah Paden Priest (known as Paden) is 26. Both currently live in the Town Creek area of Lawrence County, but Paden is originally from Cherokee County. To look at their social media, one would think the two were a normal, hard-working middle class couple. If you thought that, you would be wrong.
Joshua has now been indicted on charges of First Degree Rape, Sodomy, and Abuse of a Child (aged 4), and Paden has been indicted on a charge of First Degree Sodomy. Their first court appearance will be next month.
What kind of man finds a four year-old girl sexually appealing? What kind of woman joins in her husband's deviant fun and games? Let's hope this young girl can get the help she needs to overcome what these monsters did to her.
