A Synthetic Urine Crime

 

Perhaps you've never seen an arrest involving synthetic urine. We've been told anyone using the product will simply fail a drug test and be sent back to jail. This Franklin County crime seems to involve more.

Annittie Keeton is a 51 year-old Russellville resident with a long string of drug arrests. Yesterday, she was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Second Degree Possession of Marijuana, and "Manufacture, Use, Sell, Etc. of Synthetic Urine or Additive." It seems the latter is a Class B Misdemeanor under the Alabama Code.

Keeton, also known as Annittie Mansell, bonded out two hours after her arrest. She's shown below in a Florence drug arrest from 11 months ago:
